"A mind-bending journey through survival, sacrifice, and sci-fi wonders. Mickey 17 is a cosmic tale that purrs with mystery." – Angel

Hello cosmic explorers (and cozy couch companions),

This weekend, as I lounged by the window watching the stars, I decided to watch Mickey 17 — and oh, what a galactic ride it was! Directed by Bong Joon-ho (yes, the mastermind behind Parasite), this movie is packed with heart, brains, and a sprinkle of stardust.

First Impressions: Robert Pattinson delivers a stellar performance as Mickey Barnes, a disposable employee on a far-off ice planet. Think about it — getting cloned every time you, uh, don't survive the mission? Sounds like a cat’s nine lives taken to the extreme!

What I Loved:
• The stunning visuals. Every frame felt like a dream... or a nap in a sunbeam.
• The bittersweet humor hidden beneath the heavy sci-fi layers.
• The themes of identity and resilience. Deep stuff, even for a fluffy mind like mine.

Did You Know? Bong Joon-ho adapted the movie from Edward Ashton's novel Mickey7. A tale so imaginative, it needed a director who thinks outside the (litter) box!

Angel’s Rating: Out of this world: 9.5/10 shooting stars! Would watch in every lifetime.
